…is an informal group set up in 2023 to create, maintain and keep clear footpaths in the local area. 

Some of the ideas we plan to work on are:

• Investigating the feasibility of a walkway/cycleway between Achmore and Stromeferry alongside the road. 
• Clearing, improving and maintaining existing rights of way, such as the hill route between Achmore and Stromeferry, between Strome and Portachullin and others. 
• Clearing and improving forest roads and paths such as the Sulky road (up the Glen) and the Strome Wood paths.

We intend to hold regular volunteer days when footpath maintenance and improvement work can be done.  The next one will be on 13^th July – please get in touch if you’d like to join us.

The group is at present unconstituted, but we are investigating various possibilities including a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) or being a sub-group of an existing appropriate charity.
